Path Smuggler Bidasoa (KB, as the acronym in Basque) is a circular journey in stages. A tourist product designed and managed by Kontrabandistak, which brings together various sporting, natural and cultural components.Unidirectional circular route with start and end in the same place, whose distances and slopes require good physical preparation:
The route runs through protected natural areas of great interest as wetlands of Txingudi, the Natural Park of Aiako Harria, the mountains of Artikutza, the Natural Area Leurtza and LIC Belate, the peat bog Larrun or the tops of Bianditz, Mendaur , Saioa, Auza, Alkurruntz and Larrun.
Milestones on the route of human presence since prehistoric times (megaliths), romanization (mining) and the Middle Ages (villages and palaces) are, until recent times. The current cultural vitality is evident in local activities that can be found along the route.
The route is active from March 15 to December 15. Depending on weather conditions, the organization may modify this period.
